Cross a DJ with a Nerd, you get a Seb.
DJ Bio
Having been around for long enough now to almost know better, Seb Sharp is a man obsessed with music. Beginning a career in clubland at the rather cheeky age of 17, Seb stalked his fave dj’s for tips and honed his skills as a trainee jock at the obligatory round of friend’s parties and weddings before turning professional at 22.
Since then he’s had fistfuls of residencies, including 10 years at notorious and celebrated gay venue Connections nightclub and played alongside some of the world’s finest, including Deepswing, The Freemasons, Paul Johnson, Tiga, Freeform Five, Wayne G, Mark Moore, Princess Julia, Tracy Young, Bushwacka! and Meat Katie. Seb also appeared weekly on radio as host of his own house and electro mixshow ‘Da Funk’ on Groove 101.7FM
Still a regular guest at Perth’s busiest venues, Sharp has most recently returned to his roots at The Court Hotel, as well as regular guest appearances for Pride and Gay in WA. Known for slick mixing, the ability to play a set crossing multiple genres and a love of working with live vocalists and musicians, this dj certainly has and will continue to be one to watch on the Australian club scene. Unless he finally loses it as we all suspect he might and ends up wandering the streets in his pyjamas, trying to vacuum the pavement with a pencil.
